The Council, in recognition of humanity's salvation of the galaxy, allows the humans a seat on the Council. Shepard nominates  Anderson as the Human Councilor, and they prepare to combat the Reapers with the Alliance Fleet at the forefront. Anderson is given the position.

Shepard leaves the Citadel aboard the Normandy, intending to find a way to stop the Reaper invasion.
